About the Program

The Master's degree program in Psychology has an applied approach that covers all areas of psychology. Students gain knowledge and acquire key methodological skills that are required for the main areas in which psychology is applied as well as for selected research topics. The program builds on the Bachelor's degree program and provides students with more advanced knowledge of content and methods. It equips them with the skills they need to work in professions related to psychology and also qualifies them to pursue academic research. The Master of Psychology qualifies students to become psychological psychotherapists. The program includes both required and elective modules. In the required modules, students develop skills in diagnosis, assessment, and statistics, as well as planning experiments and analyzing data. Students may choose their elective modules from three specialization areas: Clinical Psychology, Economics and Work, and Development and Cognition. Students complete a 12-week professional internship during their studies.
