Psychologie [Psychology]Psychology

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

About the Program

The Psychology program focuses on human learning, behavior, and action as its three major scientific fields. The six-semester Bachelor's program provides students with the necessary professional knowledge for professional practice and the ability to overview the central research results of the field and to apply basic scientific methods and findings in an exemplary manner. During the study, students gain insight into the basics of methodology and into individual areas of psychology, e.g., bio-, social and developmental psychology. After completing the program, graduates can observe and analyze the behavior of individuals or groups and use the results of their investigations for psychological treatment or counseling. The Bachelor's program in Psychology can also be chosen as a minor subject (however, as a B.A.), and part-time study is also possible.
