About the Program

Production engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering science with selected fields of mechanical engineering and process engineering. Technological and organizational problems from industrial production are the subject of research and development activities. In the Master of Production Engineering (3 or 4 semesters) you will deepen the competences and skills acquired in the Bachelor's degree in a project-oriented and application-oriented manner. At the University of Bremen you can choose between seven different specialisations: General Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Science or Process Engineering. In your area of specialization, the university will accompany and support you until you graduate and involve you in the diverse and award-winning research activities of the institutes.
