About the Program

The Masters in Production Optimization is designed for employees and executives already working in production management, as well as people who see their future in this area of work. The course focuses on increasing efficiency in production, whilst ensuring that quality is not affected, by looking at innovative methods, procedures and tools. Some of the main topics include process operations, energy efficiency, the environment and recycling, cost management, and human resources. The course is offered as a job-concurrent degree, based on a blended-learning concept. Attendance is usually required at the beginning and end of the semester as a block set of teaching (Friday/Saturday). The length of the degree is normally 6 semesters, however students are able to reduce this, upon recognition and acknowledgement of extra performance, either from a degree, or employment.
