A module with an epoch-spanning design that focuses on a critical reflection on historical patterns of order will enable you to improve your analytical skills. The content of the minor subject is aimed at the reconstruction of pre-modern societies and at understanding their differences and what they have in common. Whilst examining the epochal shifts between the ancient world, the Middle Ages and the early modern era, students will acquire a comprehensive historical awareness that will allow them to reflect critically upon their position in the world of today.
