About the Program

This degree programme offers a joint perspective on society, politics, and economy, with the opportunity to combine it with a minor degree course. Students can specialize in fields such as Labour, economic and organisational processes; Globalisation and international relations; Policy areas and public finances; and Socio-scientific education. The program is unique as it can be combined with B.A. 'Musikwissenschaft' at the Folkwang University of Arts in Essen. Graduates frequently work in corporate management and consultancy, politics and the public sector, the educational sector, or in teaching positions at comprehensive schools and grammar schools. An internship of 6 weeks is recommended during the degree course, and studying abroad is recommended from the 4th semester for 1 semester.
