Thanks to its open structure, the Master of Arts in Political Science offers you a great deal of flexibility in selecting individual areas of study -- from a more broad, general focus to a special focus on particular fields. Modules from related subjects (such as philology, philosophy, history, sociology, communication studies, and pedagogy) allow for an interdisciplinary orientation. You can choose from specialisations including Global and European Governance (international crises and conflicts, international organisations, multilevel governance in Europe) and Democracy, State and Society (political sociology, state and democracy, political systems and policy analysis, multilevel governance). Graduates have a wide range of career opportunities available to them, especially in the media, political parties, lobbying, various organizations, public administration, private companies, and political education.
