About the Program

This programme offers the professional requirements to teach political science in secondary education at a German Gymnasium. When studying political science, students will be mainly concerned with the political perspectives of social needs, interests and objectives. Students will acquire knowledge about political institutions and their inner structures, become acquainted with theories that explain how political power is legitimised, and attend classes on conflict resolution and consensus building.
