About the Program

During the Master's degree programme in Physics of Green Technologies, you will expand your extensive analytical skills from the preceding 8-semester Bachelor's degree programme. You will perform independent scientific research projects, learn to maintain a scientific overview in planning and decision-making processes and apply your expertise to the critical analysis of various solutions in the field of sustainability. Similar to the 2-semester "M.Sc. Physics", this advanced degree programme only includes research, working groups and the Master's thesis, although these are centred around the areas of sustainable technologies, for example, while in the working groups the focus is on "Solar Energy Conversion", "Sustainable Materials", "Structural Analysis" or "Semiconductor Photonics". The Master's degree programme is research-centric, preparing students for research fields in physics and other disciplines such as regenerative energy technology, materials science, applied measurement techniques, biology or nature conservation.
