About the Program

In the Philosophy - Values and Norms program, students acquire broad specialist knowledge in the fundamentals of philosophy and ethics as well as in philosophy didactics. Students are enabled to analyze and evaluate philosophical and ethical problems, applying important professional methods. The program also imparts the competence for critical evaluation of positions in ethical debates. The program offers a comprehensive introduction to various areas of philosophy, including foundations of theoretical and practical philosophy as well as logical argumentation. Additionally, knowledge in didactics and symbol didactics is conveyed. Students have the opportunity to complete an internship in various professional fields. The Bachelor Combined Studies with Philosophy - Values and Norms prepares students for a Master's degree in teaching Values and Norms as well as for further studies in philosophy or ethics.
