About the Program

The online Pre-Year is designed for students who do not yet meet the direct entry requirements for German universities and supports international students in building a strong academic foundation for their future studies. The programme is hosted by the German Jordanian University (GJU) and specifically prepares students for the THWS online Bachelor’s degree programme in Health and Environmental Psychology. The curriculum is tailored to the degree programme and includes subjects such as general psychology, health psychology, environmental psychology, interdisciplinary perspectives, and research methods, among others. An optional German language programme, also fully online, is available to further support the students’ academic and professional development. Upon successful completion of the Pre-Year programme, students become eligible for admission to the relevant Bachelor’s degree programme at THWS, providing a clear and structured pathway into their studies at THWS.
