About the Program

The Ohm International Summer School (Ohm-ISS) at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg offers students and graduates from around the world an opportunity to delve into current and future-oriented topics in an intercultural environment. The combination of academic quality and practical insights, and global exchange makes Ohm-ISS a unique summer school in Europe. A variety of summer school courses are offered in English that reflect the breadth of our academic programmes. Application-orientation is central to all of the courses. At the Ohm, experienced practitioners from business and industry teach alongside our faculty in the summer school courses. The combination of academic rigour and real-world applications enables participants to gain valuable skills, expand their international network, and strengthen their career prospects in the global job market. The Ohm-ISS experience comprises different course options to choose from and a varied cultural and leisure programme for all participants in the summer school. All courses include at least one excursion. Lectures, laboratories and excursions take place from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12.15 pm, and also on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1.30 pm to 4 pm. The 2026 Ohm International Summer School (20-31 July 2026) comprises of 4 different courses to choose from: Electronic Music Production Confident and Effective Communication Applied Cyber Defense: From Intrusion Analysis to Incident Response Twin Transformation in Business: Digitalisation and Sustainable Management in the Circular Economy
