About the Program

The Master of Music in Saxophone program focuses on advanced instrumental specialization and personal artistic development. The curriculum includes individual saxophone lessons, correpetition, orchestra projects, and elective courses in musicology and music theory. The program culminates in a Master's thesis consisting of a public concert, a written component, and an oral examination. As part of Department C (Wind, Percussion, Conducting, Correpetition), students gain practice-oriented experience through numerous projects in chamber music, school orchestra, the Echo Ensemble, and the 'Eisler Winds' series. During the course, students may choose to focus on chamber music, orchestra, or education.
