About the Program

The Master's program 'Museum Management and Communication' at HTW Berlin is the only program of its kind in Germany. It prepares students for complex tasks in museums by teaching organizational processes and communication strategies. Students can specialize in one of two areas: Museum Management or Museum Communication. The program has a strong practical focus through study projects in collaboration with Berlin's 175 museums, such as the Jewish Museum or the Museum of Natural History. The program emphasizes diversity, anti-discrimination, equal opportunities, and accessibility in museums.
