About the Program

The Bachelor's degree programme in Molecular Medicine is for those who want to examine medical issues using laboratory methods from molecular biology. This programme will primarily create skilled researchers who do not have contact with patients and not practising doctors. The programme provides well-founded essential knowledge of the natural sciences as well as pre-clinical knowledge of biochemistry and physiology and theoretical clinical knowledge of haematology/oncology, immunology, microbiology and human genetics. In addition, several individual and group internships are scheduled. The range of courses provides a general foundation in natural sciences and medicine, offering not only scientific knowledge but also practical and methodical experience through lectures, seminars and many internships. The Bachelor's Programme aims to offer students education that provides the basis either for occupational opportunities in the field of natural science, or an in-depth master's programme.
