About the Program

Analyse developments in the Middle East, combining the methods of political science, cultural studies and economics. In this minor subject, this interdisciplinary approach will give you a multi-perspective insight into Middle East research and is the perfect complement to a variety of major subjects. This minor subject is suitable for combining with an additional minor subject offered by the Centre for Near and Middle Eastern Studies (CNMS), especially one of the regional languages, Arabic, Persian or Turkish, and can train you to become an expert in the interdisciplinary analysis of the Middle East.
