About the Program

Metals Technology is offered as a vocational subject area within the Master's Teacher Training Course for Technical Education for Single-subject Bachelor's Graduates (LBS-Sprint). In addition, students are required to study a second subject or teaching subject. During their degree, students gain the teaching methodological skills in the vocational subject of Metals Technology or Automotive Engineering required as a basis for teaching in technical education. This involves the analysis, design and evaluation of teaching, and includes internships in vocational schools. In addition, students analyse the professions with a view to taking account of social and technological developments and using them to develop their teaching and vocational schools.
