About the Program

Media shapes our lives - everyday life, work life and leisure. In the Media and Communication Bachelor's program, you will become a media professional: You understand how films, animations, games, websites or social media content are conceived and realized. You learn which technologies are behind them, how they work, and you learn to work with these technologies by creating media products. Your studies revolve around the four disciplines that make up media - Business, Computer Science, Design and Technology. In the first two semesters, you work on all four disciplines, in the 3rd semester you can already specialize in 3 areas, and from the 4th semester onwards, you deepen your media know-how according to your own wishes, from a wide range of elective modules. Good studiability, early choice options and current content, with a lot of practical relevance and interdisciplinarity, make the Media and Communication Bachelor's program exciting and enable you to enter the diverse professional branches of the media industry after graduation.
