About the Program

Medical Process Management (MPM) is a Master's degree course (full-time study, 120 ECTS) for students with a first university degree. It lasts three semesters plus the time required to complete the Master's thesis. This course imparts medical knowledge, knowledge of the healthcare system, healthcare IT and skills in quality and process management. The aim is to increase both patient benefit and added value in the healthcare sector through effective and efficient processes. The program teaches how medical and organizational processes in the healthcare sector can be designed efficiently, economically and in a patient-oriented manner. It combines management knowledge with medical understanding in order to better coordinate complex processes – for example, in clinics or medical practices.
