About the Program

The Media Studies major covers the audiovisual media of film and photography, radio, television and digital media (computer, internet, multimedia configurations, mobile and social media). Students will acquire comprehensive analytical, theoretical and historical knowledge and skills, focusing on both research and practice. The program is aimed at students who have a strong interest in various forms of media as well as in the perceptual and linguistic aspects of audiovisual structures. After graduating, students will be able to examine, reflect on and evaluate audiovisual media in different contexts, as well as design, communicate and supervise audiovisual projects within different contexts. An integral part of the combined Bachelor's degree is the MarSkills programme, in which students will acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills.
