The degree program "Media Literacy: Audiovisual Culture and Communication" focuses on the current societal-technological changes of digitalization and mediatization, and the associated central importance of media - particularly in the area of education in a digital world. The program provides an introduction and deepening in theories, methods and practice of media education and (audio)visual communication. Students acquire practical and theoretical competencies to embed their own media projects and scientific tasks in the field of media pedagogy in theoretical contexts, to work on them methodically, to implement and reflect on them.
