About the Program

Society has become nearly inseparable from modern information technology, perhaps nowhere more than in communications. This degree programme combines computer science with the study of New Media and modern web technology. The curriculum is designed to be interdisciplinary and practice-oriented, preparing graduates to face diverse challenges in the career world. The program starts with a foundation in applied computer science and builds upon this with knowledge in web development, visualisation, media technology and advanced interactive technology. Later semesters offer emphasis areas including software development, media and computing, 3D modelling and animation, game development and visualisation. The program includes project-based assignments, electives, and a sixth-semester internship or semester abroad. The seventh semester concludes with a bachelor's thesis, presentation and discussion.
