About the Program

Expand your horizons with a study abroad experience together with peers from all over the world at the Business School of the University of Mannheim in Germany's largest baroque palace. Discover what studying at one of Germany's leading business schools is all about. We are triple accredited by AACSB, EFMD (EQUIS), and AMBA. The Summer School's lectures are held by Mannheim faculty, applying interactive teaching methods such as case studies, group work, and discussions. Complement your theoretical knowledge with a practical perspective by meeting business experts. Gain new insights when visiting successful SMEs as well as global players in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region - one of Europe's most important economic centres. Enrich your global perspective and intercultural sensitivity. During our cultural activities, you will get the chance to try the local specialities of the Palatinate vineyards or explore Heidelberg, with its impressive castle and its unique historic centre. Visit Hambach Castle, the cradle of German democracy; Speyer, with its UNESCO World Heritage cathedral; or the medieval villages along the German wine road. The Summer School consists of three five-day modules, each dealing with one specific aspect of business studies. You can combine modules freely. Apply for only one module or for several at once. Each module concludes with an in-class examination. Your performance will be graded, and, if passed, we will award three ECTS credits. Please note that it is up to your home institution to decide whether our Summer School will be counted towards your study programme.
