During the coursework in the first and second semesters, students will have to complete the following modules: Refresher Modules Laboratory modules Core Modules Technofunctionality of Food Components Nutrition and Microbiome in Health and Disease Energy Metabolism and Regulation Food Structure Design and Texture Engineering (Food Design) Molecular Sensory Science (Food Quality) Sustainability in Food Systems Food Toxins and Toxicants (Food Toxicology) Microbial Food Safety from Farm to Fork Technical Elective Modules (choose two modules) Economic and Environmental Life Cycle Assessment Molecularbiological Methods to Assess Authenticity, CMO and Veterinary Drugs in Food Cellular Agriculture Non-Technical Elective Modules (choose two modules) Business Administration Innovation and Technology Management Project Management Principles Production Planning in Industry Internship Master's thesis *Disclaimer: Modules available for selection are subject to availability.
