About the Program

The Master of Science Maschinenbau programme deepens and expands knowledge and skills in the analysis, design, simulation, optimisation and construction of technical systems. In addition to classic lectures and exercises, the programme includes application-oriented learning forms, including a practical mechanical engineering tutorial and industry-related advanced design projects. Students can gain initial experience in basic and applied research. The program offers the option of a twelve-week external project work in industry. Students can choose between a broad education in general mechanical engineering or one of the following specialisations: Sustainable Use of Resources, Clean Energy and Process Engineering, Future Automotive Systems, Digital Based Production and Robotics. International semester exchanges are possible through partner universities.
