About the Program

Logistics is the technological cornerstone of globalization. Only the efficient planning and control of value chains enables the worldwide procurement, production and sale of goods. The logistics degree program has an interdisciplinary orientation and reflects the multifaceted job profile of the industry. Logistics learning content is taught in the context of current findings in engineering, economics and natural sciences. The competence to view complex problems holistically and to solve them efficiently is imparted. Following the Bachelor's degree program, it is possible to specialize in specific disciplines in the Master's degree program. The Bachelor's degree program comprises 7 semesters. The subdivision of the program into technology, business administration, data processing and logistics illustrates the interdisciplinary orientation. Within one area, basic knowledge is initially taught, and in the higher semesters there is then the possibility of deepening the areas of intralogistics, transportation, production planning and control, and simulation. Additional qualifications and industrial internships round out the specialized knowledge and facilitate its application in the professional environment.
