About the Program

The Master's degree programme offers the opportunity to further education in the field of lightweight construction, product and process development as well as computer-aided engineering (CAE). Students will acquire knowledge, skills and competences that will enable them to work as specialists or managers for calculation, design and development, or for a doctorate. The qualifications acquired will enable them to understand and design development and manufacturing processes in a complex environment and to develop innovative products and technologies using modern CAE methods and tools. The programme focuses on lightweight construction which is becoming increasingly important for energy efficiency, and simulation which is required due to shorter product cycles and increasing complexity of systems.
