About the Program

The Bachelor's program 'Languages, Cultures, Communication' focuses on multilingual action in transcultural contexts, which is becoming increasingly important in international organizations, development cooperation, education, and corporate communication. This interdisciplinary program prepares students to professionally shape such situations. Students study at least two languages from a selection of 12 (Arabic, German, English, French, Italian, Modern Greek, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish) and develop high communicative competencies - oral, written, and digital. Another central aspect is the scientific-practical engagement with cross-cutting contemporary issues. The program is taught at the Germersheim campus, which has a very international atmosphere with one-third of students coming from approximately 70 countries.
