Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

The Languages and Business Administration program combines languages, economics, and intercultural communication into one study program. Students can choose between a Chinese or Ibero-Romance language and culture focus. With the Ibero-Romance focus, students can learn Spanish and Portuguese even without prior knowledge through a method that allows acquiring knowledge of both languages simultaneously. The program provides education in business language of the chosen specialization, English as a second language, extensive knowledge of economics, and skills in intercultural communication. The program includes an integrated year abroad with a semester at a partner university in China, Spain, Latin America, Portugal, or Timor-Leste followed by a company internship in the target country. Starting in winter semester 2023/24, students can begin studying German at level A2 in the Business Communication German major.
