About the Program

Saarland University is the coordinating institution for the international Master's programme 'Language and Communication Technologies'. The programme offers students from around the world high-class academic training coupled with the opportunity to improve their foreign language skills and hone their intercultural competence by selecting subject-related and geographical areas of preference. Students study at two of the participating universities within the consortium, which, in addition to Saarland University, includes universities in the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands and Spain. Students can combine modules from the fields of language technology, computational linguistics, theoretical linguistics and computer science in a way that reflects their own personal academic interests. Depending on the focus of the modules and courses taken, graduates from the programme will be awarded either an M.Sc. or an M.A. degree from each of the two universities at which they studied.
