About the Program

Kunstwissenschaft is the newest field of study at UFU. The department, reopened for the 100th anniversary, trains specialists in this field to fulfill an important mission of UFU in Europe. During the program, students deepen their knowledge in philosophy, sociology, psychology and art, and can compare German and Ukrainian cultural developments. The program offers valuable experience in the specializations "Culture and Art in the Context of an Era: History and Present" and "Applied Art Science". Students can apply their theoretical skills in understanding and analyzing artworks, in the management of cultural events and art projects, and work as art critics. The program includes seminars and meetings with famous artists, visits to Munich museums, theaters, the Philharmonic and exhibitions, and immersion in the unique German art scene. After graduation, students can apply for positions in art organization management, art journalism, art education, and musical performance practice.
