About the Program

The Master's program in Artificial Intelligence Technology (Künstliche Intelligenz Technologie) focuses on the development of current and future AI systems. Students deepen their fundamental knowledge and learn to master the diverse and growing requirements of AI systems such as language interpretation systems, autonomous driving, early warning systems, or security systems. The program provides current knowledge and modern techniques from computer science, electrical engineering, and psychology. Through the combination of these study contents, students are enabled to develop and design complex artificial intelligence systems. Students become familiar with the methods used by AI systems, such as Deep Learning, Support Vector Machines, Markov Random Fields, Wavelets, Bayesian networks, or optimal inference. Graduates are able to conceptualize AI systems, test their special properties, validate, further develop, and specifically implement them. The program also teaches students to assess and critically question the limits and effects of artificial intelligence technologies on socially relevant problems.
