About the Program

The German language course at level A2 focuses mainly on improving communicative competence based on topics relevant to university life as well as everyday life in Germany. In addition, grammar will be introduced and expanded at this level. The participants learn the most important structures of the German language. A special feature is the project work, which improves local knowledge and language skills with a focus on current topics. The language course will be supplemented by an extensive and varied activity programme, consisting of working groups on regional and cultural studies meeting in the afternoons, alongside activities taking place in the evenings and on the weekends. Furthermore, there are two day trips to museums in well-known towns included in the course price – for example, a visit to the "House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany" in Bonn and to the "LWL-Museum for Art and Culture" in Münster.
