About the Program

The "International Business Management" program represents a joint program of the Department of Economics of the University of Marburg and the Grande Ecole INSEEC Business School, France. It is designed as a consecutive, primarily research-oriented master's program that extends over four semesters. Its strong international alignment is reflected not only in its teaching, but also in a required foreign internship. The program has the primary goal of imparting economic knowledge with emphases on international aspects. The French specialization "International Business Strategy" expands individual economics disciplines (e.g. brand or supply chain management) and supplements them with aspects of human resources. With this master's program, students are qualified to take on challenging responsibilities as specialists or managers in the private economy – in the fields of industry, trade and services – in the public economy or with associations. Furthermore, the master's program enables students to acquire further qualification with a doctorate.
