About the Program

The aim of this research-oriented degree course is to provide students with the methodological tools for analyzing economic and social problems in the fields of economics, social sciences and (international) communication and to enable them to develop and implement well-founded proposals for solutions. The degree program "International Business Economics" (IBE) is a consecutive degree program in economics in English, which in addition to a methodologically sound, empirical-applied education also teaches intercultural competence. The degree program thus enables students to operate successfully from a professional, linguistic, and personal perspective in the international context of a globalized world. This opens up a wide range of possible fields of employment in science, business and politics for graduates of this degree program. Graduates possess analytical thinking skills to model complex economic and social issues, have expertise in International Business Administration and International Economics, and have acquired competencies in international communication.
