About the Program

The curriculum conveys knowledge of structural elements, forms, and transformation processes of Christian Theology in different cultural contexts. It enables students to analyse the transcultural characters of Global Christianities and their interactions with other religions. The program aims to familiarize people with the knowledge and reflection of German-style Protestant theology, enable women and members of ethnic or sexual minorities to study theology, equip pastors and workers with theological knowledge, offer a basis for further academic qualification, and promote intercultural, interreligious and ecumenical opening of Protestant theology.
