About the Program

The aim of the research-oriented and entirely English-language programme "Intellectics M.A." is to provide students with both a in-depth understanding of the foundations, methods, and results of the science of artificial intelligence (AI) as well as a broad scientific understanding of the interaction of humans with systems that can perform non-trivial tasks for humans. Approaches will be pursued that arise from relevant questions in the humanities, including philosophy, contributing to solving the above-described problems. The program comprises 120 credit points distributed across subject-specific modules (102 CPs) and an elective area (18 CPs). The compulsory modules are divided into three pillars focusing on: 1) data and algorithmic competence, 2) intelligent agent systems for planning and decision-making, and 3) multi-agent aspects incorporating game theory, social mechanisms, and formal ethics.
