About the Program

Students on the programme acquire fundamental professional knowledge and the skills to work independently in accordance with scientific methods, to master the varied demands of employment in the fields of applied practice, research or teaching, and to manage the frequently changing tasks that arise in the working world. Professional expertise is built in the field of health promotion and organisational development to develop, implement and evaluate processes of change and reform in organisations from the viewpoint of health promotion. Students acquire competencies in health and social policy, empirical social research, organisational development, management and communication. In semesters 1-2, students gain specialist scientific expertise in health and social policy, sociological research methods, health promotion in organisational development, and economics and management. Semester 3 involves a traineeship, and semester 4 is dedicated to the Master's thesis and colloquium.
