About the Program

The Master's programme in Green Engineering focuses on the different process chains of the bioeconomy and their evaluation. The main areas of study include: biogenic raw, residual and waste materials; technical processes in the field of material and energetic biomass utilization; raw material and energy industry framework conditions; energy law and basics of plant licensing; and life cycle assessment. The program covers the characterization and provision of renewable materials and biogenic residual and waste materials, technological approaches to their material and energetic utilization, and innovative products and possibilities for a sustainable energy supply. The course is carried out in cooperation with the Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, with some lectures taking place in Hannover.
