About the Program

The focus of the Master of Arts degree in Governance und Public Policy is on "Governance". In addition to providing a general, in-depth overview of various theoretical issues in political science, the degree programme is designed to provide comprehensive information on governance in multi-level governance systems. Additional important issues include the diversification of decision-making processes at both national and international levels, change in political institutions, new forms of political governance and new types of bargaining systems. The degree programme is designed around research as its central aim. Students participate in a research colloquium which will serve as a basis for a later career in the field of social sciences.
