About the Program

Good Governance is an innovative law study program that offers a comprehensive legal education with interdisciplinary elements. The program combines legal expertise with historical, economic, societal, and ethical foundations. The 8-semester Bachelor program enables students to understand, apply, and shape law considering its philosophical, historical, and sociological foundations. In the first two semesters, students learn the philosophical, historical, and sociological foundations of law along with basic knowledge in philosophy, political science, and sociology. The legal education deepens in subsequent semesters with knowledge in civil law and criminal law. In the final two semesters, students specialize in one of three areas: a) Business & Private Sector, b) State, Economy & Administration, or c) Globalization & International Relations. Career prospects include positions in legislative bodies, business, associations, public administration, policy consulting, and international/European organizations.
