About the Program

The German Degree Programme Component in the Master of Education Vocational Teaching Profession provides students with practicable specialised and didactic knowledge of the German language that enables them, as educators, to design teaching, learning, and educational processes for German language instruction. Students will gain an overview of the interrelationships between the individual areas of Recent German Literature, Linguistics, and Medieval Studies, as well as develop the ability to apply in-depth academic methods and knowledge and to work independently in accordance with academic principles. The degree programme is modular and comprises a subject component of 31 credit points (18 credit points are devoted to subject-specific science, 13 credit points to subject-specific didactics).
