The Geography degree programme offers the opportunity of looking into current geographic and geoscience phenomena and processes on a technical and a didactic level, e.g. into globalisation, climate change, natural hazards, as well as demographic development, migration, disparities, resource conflicts. It allows specialization in Physical Geography, Human Geography, Geomatics, and Didactics of Geography. The program is interdisciplinary, intersecting with many disciplines including meteorology, geology, sociology, and other fields.
