About the Program

The study of French Language and Culture covers the areas of language practice, literature, linguistics, and cultural studies. In addition to solid language skills, which also includes a module on business language to prepare for professional practice, students acquire basic skills in the scientific analysis of language, literature, and culture of France and French-speaking countries. The program offers special opportunities for double degrees with French universities when combined with Germanic Studies or Anglophone Studies.
