The program involves departments of Romance Studies, German Studies, Political Science, Information and Communication Sciences at the University of Lorraine, and Intercultural Administrative Sciences at the University of Speyer. Students spend their first year at the University of Lorraine-Metz and the second year at Saarland University, with a block seminar in Speyer and a self-selected internship during the semester break. A mandatory internship in the neighboring country is an integral part of the studies. A research-oriented variant of the Master's program is offered as part of a PhD track program, which connects the two-year Master's program directly with a three-year doctoral phase.
