About the Program

The Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Taxation (FACT-Master) is a three-semester program that qualifies for various leadership positions: in finance and accounting, in controlling, in tax and business consulting, and in auditing. This choice of study creates excellent professional options across industries in small and medium-sized enterprises, in large companies, nationally and internationally. The degree also qualifies for a career in the higher service of public administration. The program is flexibly structured with a mandatory area (32 ECTS), an elective specialization area (36 ECTS), and the master's thesis (22 ECTS). In the specialization area, students can focus on Finance and Controlling or Accounting and Taxation, choosing a closer professional field reference. If modules from two specialization areas are completed, this will be indicated in the certificate. Alternatively, students can choose a more generalist orientation with an individual combination of modules from Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Taxation.
