About the Program

The master's degree programme FACT - Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Taxation & Law (M.A.) complements the Business Studies bachelor's degree programme and extends it whilst focusing on the named areas. The programme provides interfaces for graduates of technical or natural science bachelor's degree programmes seeking a complementary Business Studies qualification. The degree programme places great value on well-founded specialist theory as well as practice-orientated studies in finance, accounting, controlling, taxation and law, and networks these areas with each other. The curriculum includes an optional introductory semester (for the four-semester variant), followed by specialist theory modules covering Value-Orientated Business Management, International Accounting, Financial and Risk Management, Cost Management, Company and Commercial Law, and Taxation of Companies. The programme includes company simulation exercises, practice-orientated projects, and research components, culminating in a master's thesis.
