European Master's in Project Management (EuroMPM)

Master

About the Program

Learn Practical Ways to Successfully Manage Cross-Industry Projects — join the international study programme, the European Master's in Project Management (EuroMPM) at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Fachhochschule Dortmund). Held in collaboration with our European partners, the main focus of the EuroMPM Master’s degree programme is on the development of competences in international project management, particularly for the IT and digital transformation areas. The curriculum is based upon international standards that are crucial for modern project management (IPMA, PMI, OGC, ISO, etc.). The technical focus of the EuroMPM course is based on three fundamental pillars: The right toolbox – This involves standards, processes, methods, and tools of project management. The study is not limited to a particular standard (such as ICB, PMBOK, PRINCE2). Rather, the standards are the content of the study. Optimal synergy – This entails team-oriented project work focused on leadership, teamwork, and people. The training is focused on the practical exercise of the management of international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary (3 x "i") teams and scientific examination of the underlying sociological aspects of the management. Sustainability – The focus is on the project environment and the achievement of its objectives. Sustainable project management involves the content of the project as well as its stakeholders, its environment, and their reciprocal interactions. It also involves the scope, time and budget of the project to determine its execution quality. EuroMPM students have the opportunity to participate in block courses or spend an entire semester abroad at one of our partner universities: University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain: EuroMPM Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway: Master's in Project Management KU Leuven, Belgium: Postgraduate Programme in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Engineering Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA), Ukraine: Project Management West Ukrainian National University (WUNU), Ukraine: English Language Master's programme in "Project Management” University of Latvia (LU), Latvia: Project Management For more information about the EuroMPM programme, visit: EuroMPM on the European Partnership for Project and Innovation Management (EuroPIM) website EuroMPM on the FH Dortmund website Or feel free to contact us directly (see contact information above).
