About the Program

The Master in European Business Law program provides in-depth knowledge of European economic law. Focus areas include European internal market and economic constitutional law (especially fundamental freedoms, competition law, public procurement law), EU foreign trade law including economic international law references (especially WTO law), European trademark law, European commercial and corporate law, as well as European private, consumer and labor law. Students learn to transfer acquired knowledge in European economic law to legal problems and tasks, recognize complex issues, develop solutions, and argue scientifically sound, methodologically correct and practically reasonable. The program also offers insights into the practice of European economic law, particularly through supplementary events of the Frankfurt Institute for European Union Law (FIREU).
