About the Program

The Master's program in Renewable Energy (120 ECTS) aims to provide physical, chemical, and technical knowledge for the conversion of renewable energies. This includes basic knowledge, application-oriented knowledge, and knowledge of general economic and energy-economic relationships. In addition to engineering courses at technical universities and universities of applied sciences, this program particularly imparts scientific knowledge on the topic of renewable energies. The focus areas of the program are: Physics and Chemistry of Energy Conversion, Renewable Energies and Energy Technology, Energy Storage, and Ecological Energy Management. The program provides both chemical and physical knowledge of energy conversion processes. Partially missing chemical or physical prior knowledge can be addressed within the framework of elective courses during the first year of study.
